How a spreadsheet of 900+ products turned into a web design studio.
Story.
The Origin
I started somewhere ordinary.
A scientist by training, a creative by passion, and a traveler by choice. I left my career after realizing I wanted a life adapted to my lifestyle, not the other way around. The work I wanted didn't have walls, so I built it myself. My science background gave me something most web designers don't have: I'm comfortable with data. Big, messy, overwhelming data. That's not a problem for me, it's just a puzzle with a clear answer. Combined with my multipassionate creative brain, I've spent my time picking up all sorts of tech skills.

The Turn
One spreadsheet. 900 products. One night
The first time someone hired me, it was exactly that kind of problem. A Norwegian yarn shop had 900 products sitting in a spreadsheet. They'd been loading them into their store one by one — every product, every variation, every image — by hand. I wrote a script. A few hours later, everything was live: names clean, images assigned, descriptions consistent, SEO tags on every single one. That project was called Strikkoteket. The invoice I sent after had Glintz on it. That's where this studio came from. Not from a vision board or a brand strategy. From a real problem, a real client, and the realization that I could actually fix it — and that a lot of entrepreneurs out there have exactly the same kind of problem, with nobody willing to solve it without making it feel complicated. That's what Glintz is for.
The combination you didn't know you needed
Design and data, in the same place. No handoffs, no gaps, no explaining yourself twice.
We're not scared of your spreadsheet
You show up with 900 products, a chaotic file, and no naming system. We've seen it. We sort it, structure it, and get it live — without making you feel bad about the mess.
Design that looks like you meant it
Not a template that almost fits. A visual identity and website built around how your business actually works — and how your customers actually shop.
No jargon. No disappearing act.
We walk you through every decision in plain language, and we're still here after launch. No file handoff and goodbye.
